Abstract Submission Deadline: January 15, 2005
The IDS-4 organizing committee, chaired by Donald Tomalia, Jean Fréchetand Fraser Stoddard, has issued a call for papers focusing on recent researchin the field of dendrimers. IDS-4 will be held May 18-21, 2005, on thecampus of Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
The Symposium is tentatively divided into seven sessions, including:
• DendrimerSynthesis
• DendriticStructures
• Electronics,Photonics
• CommercialApplications
• MedicalApplications: Drug Delivery, Imaging
• MedicalApplications: Cell Recognition, Transfection
• Nanotechnology,Catalysis
The topics listed above are not exclusive - additional research topics are welcome. Currently,it is anticipated that 60 - 70 oral presentations will be accommodated.
To submit a paper, complete the abstract form provided below, following the submissionguidelines provided. Please name the file by the last name andthe first initial of the presenting author, as well as a number correspondingto the specific abstract number (If you intend to submit multiple abstracts.i.e., SmithJ1.doc, SmithJ2.doc, etc.).

Abstracts should be submitted electronically in Microsoft Word file format. Pleasesend abstracts as an e-mail attachment to ids_4@cmich.edu. Submissionswill be followed up with a confirmation of receipt within a few days.
The submission e-mail must include the following information: Author, Organization,Street Address, City, State/Province, Zip/Postal Code, Country, E-mail Address,Telephone and Fax. (If the presenting author is other than the correspondingauthor, indicate the presenting author's name and provide the same informationlisted above)
The submission e-mail should also include presentation preference: ORALONLY, ORAL or POSTER, POSTER ONLY
PLEASE NOTE:
• Abstracts will be accepted for consideration through the submission deadline,or until the program is full.
• In order to minimize program disruptions, final acceptance and inclusionin the printed program is contingent upon speaker/poster presenter registrationand full submission by March 1, 2005 . Late poster submissions or registrationfor poster presenters after this deadline will be accepted as space becomes available. However,these abstracts WILL NOT be published in the book of abstracts.
